2013 Save the Date Hispanic Day at the Capitol

by Bart Sprague | Feb 28, 2013
The goals of Hispanic Day at the Capitol are to:

1.     Encourage Relationship Building
2.     Ensure that complete and accurate information is provided for both sides of an issue
3.     Working Together has proven to be a win-win for all

KHLAAC’s mission is to actively engage in an open dialogue with the community to ensure consistent communication lines with our elected officials and policy makers; to be the voice of the Hispanic-Latino community and conversely to represent the Governor’s office when a presence is needed in the community; and to advice on public policy matters that impact the Hispanic-Latino community.

At the end of the day, we hope that you will walk away with valuable information and resources that you can take back to your community.  We encourage those who attend to return home and hold important conversations with their family, friends and community regarding health care, education, business, the importance of voting and how the effects of poverty are connected with each.  KHLAAC is a resource not an advocacy group.
