Audé Negrete Banos is a passionate advocate for social justice focusing on children’s, Women’s, and Immigrant’s rights.  For over two decades her advocacy has taken her around the United States and Mexico.  Audé credits her mother and father for instilling in her a great deal of compassion and empathy for those less fortunate and a value system that teaches that we only win when our community wins.  In her advocacy work Audé had helped pass the Maryland Dream Act, organized community leaders to testify in favor of Kansas’s In-State Tuition, empowered tenants to fight for their housing rights, directed presidential campaign activated in Kansas, assisted detained asylum seekers prepare their court cases, founded a Young Democrats group, and advised several groups on how to bridge the gap between their organization and the community they serve. Audé holds degrees in Spanish, Political Science, and International Studies from the University of Kansas.
